Fingerweaving Untangled: An Illustrated Beginner's Guide is a 64-page how-to book written and published by Manitoba fiber artist Carol James. Known as a weaver and teacher, Carol James has created a carefully written step-by-step manual for the beginner and the more advanced weaver. The technique of fingerweaving can be found in Haudenosaunee, Métis, Sami and other Indigenous cultures. Fingerweaving is also called free end braiding or ceinture flechee because the warp and weft are continuous.
